How I Learned to Stop Worrying That People Would Think They Were Reading My Journal

My post today is about how I got over my worries that people would feel like they were reading my old diaries when they read my books. I think I do expose a lot of what was going on with me at that time, but I'm also learning those scenes that made me cringe writing them (and living them!) are the ones readers respond to the most and are the ones I get the messages about where they tell me if helped them feel less alone.
